SEATTLE MARINERS -130 ? The Mariners have now lost 2 games in a row, which is significant because this team hardly ever loses 3 straight games. Seattle is an amazing 161-79 67.08% since the start of last season, and they have had just 3 streaks during that time when they lost 3 in a row or more! Piniero has a good ERA of 3.10, and even that is skewed somewhat by 2 bad starts, as he has 6 Quality Starts in his last 8 starts. He is on top of his game right now, coming off of a dominating 5-hit Complete Game shutout of the Cardinals in a game in which he walked no one. Reitsma has pitched well also, as he actually has a better ERA than Piniero, at 2.90. However, the teams that he has been facing are not as formidable as this Seattle lineup, and he also seemingly gives up his runs at the worst possible times, as the Reds have lost each of Reitsma?s last 4 starts.
