I think Cleveland had their chance in this series and it has passed them now. If Colon was pitching today I would be a little hesitant , but Moyer VS Finley , at home Game 5 I think with such a strong fudamentally sound team I am going to lay the 1.5 runs -120 as a fairly large play. I feel this team takes care of business so well if the game is close late they will push across an insurance run. With Ichiro, they score without getting the ball out of the infield all year long. Too much speed, defense and pitching.
Go Mariners -1.5 -20 BIG

Well that game went according to plan, glad I was away from a T.V. so I did not have to sweat it out. Going large on Clemens and the Yanks, just too much experience , coaching , and talent to go with the A's. Thought about hedging my series play but I think I would be throwing away money. Also will drop a little on the runline -1.5 +170. Good luck to all.

Wound up be a great day in the bases, obviously it is better to be lucky then good.
Like Zona tomorrow, Maddux has not been overly impressive of late and I think Johnson has a better chance of shutting down this team then the .300 batting ladened lin-up of St.Louis.. Thoughts??

Not used to seeing Johnson at only -150. I never play with him because I refuse to play the HUGE chalk. Really like Zona today. Can't wait to sit down and watch this game with Johnson instead of betting against him. Maddux has been nothing but O.K. of late, and being on the road against a good lefty hitting line-up to me makes the Dbacks a solid play.

Thanks T.J.,. rarely play totals, can never get a feel for them. The only time I usually play them of late is when Schilling is pitching and I go under. Will add this afternoon , Dbacks -1.5 +35. HAve trouble resisting the runlines here in the playoffs. With the low-scoring games there seems to be a great emphasis on manufactuing runs and getting the insurance runs late, I have no idea what the record for laying the runlines in these playoffs but I have hit my last 6 and can't resist with Johnson.

Glad that one is over, could not stand another pitch. I think after being all over the YAnkees in the last series I really like the Mariners in this one. This Seattle team just flat out manufactures runs like nobody else, I am just a little scared of Sele, he just seems to average of best of late. Any thoughts on this one??? Pettitte can be hit. Right now feel like this is Mariner time. little help here?

i kind of like the over actually, but will probably stay off.....sele has been getting hit hard lately, and petitte may be less than sharp after all the travel. I think the best play though might be Seattle cuz the Yanks could be worn down from all the traveling......

if I was playing this one, i would parlay the mariners and the over......

I have gone back and forth on this Yank/Mariner game for a while now, I think I am settling on the Mariners for game 1. Some of my reasoning includes , the travel, Pettite season VS Mariners, but the 2 main reasons are,I feel that the Yanks will be at ease because of their experience in these situations, they won't panic if they lose. I think after the Mariners had to come back the way they did , the last thing they want to do is get down to this Yankee team at home. I feel Lou will have the Mariners charging hard out the gate and the tavel will catch up with Yanks and have them a litle sluggish. And the second reason...ICHIRO, I watch this guy play and he just manufatures runs. He gets on base on what should be groundouts, steal second , sac or steal third , score on a out. Both managers play NL style ball and I think being at home , with much better tablesetters puts me on the Mariners.

I could be wrong..I usually am..ask my wife!!!!

Will go with a Major on the Mariners-130 with a minor on the under 8.5. Big game, Pettitte will keep it close , will go down to the wire in a tight one.
