Marist Red Foxes (-6) over Loyola College

Marist coming of two close losses to St.Peters and are looking for fresh blood. The Red Foxes have already played the Greyhounds once and the final was a Marist win 64-48. That's 16 points, is home court for LC worth 10 points? :shrug:

Marist is 5-12 with losses to:
Canisius 74-78
@St. Peter's 64-70
@Fairfield 60-74
St. Peter's 64-67
@Iona 54-74

The greyhounds are 0- 18 (Greyhounds have lost 31 consecutive):
@Fairfield Lost 56-75
Siena Lost 59-81
Canisius Lost 64-66
@Marist Lost 48-64
St. Peter's Lost 66-80

11 of LC's losses have been by double digits (6 of the last 7).

Limited Loyola bench! :eek:
Senior Lindbergh Chatman hasbeen nursing a knee injury and is likely to play tonight,
Linton Hinds has a hip flexor and is doubtful,
Michael Tuck, who twisted his ankle against Canisius
and Jamaal Dixon, who sprained his thumb at Manhattan
are both probable, Bobby Bossman, who
sprained his ankle against Siena and Josko Alujevic,
who suffered a stress fracture in his right hand before
the season started are both out of the lineup.

The best player LC has is Bell and if Marist can shut him down they will coast to the cover. ;)

Thoughts of a sleep walk game for some because Marist plays @Rider on Saturday. IMO when you are 5-12 you do not sleep walk past anyone.

Thanks everyone

GL to you all

I am also going to put a small play on the Duke 1st half over (64.5). Duke can put up on avergae 35 but I think FSU will tack on 30 in cameron. Either way:
In a blowout = Duke will be somewhere around 45 and FSU about 20
In a shootout = Duke in the high 30's and FSU in the low 30's
In a poor shooting struggle = I'm SCREWED
Lets hope for one of the first two choices!

My main play is still the Red Fox!

Irish,great write up.
After Loy shot 6-30 vs the foxes 2-3 zone and bell was 1-8,Magarity will play it smart.If they score he will push out the zone further.If they are really hitting their jumpers he can go man/man. marist plays a lot of man too.
But w/o Bossman there hurting.Loy lost 2 kids that were good when they tranferred this summer in Jordan and Donovan.
Hicks was in trouble from that day on.
Now Loy might win if their coach suited up tonite.Hicks played for LeMoyne and was some player.
