Did any one else sense that Mariucci was auditioning for the Eagles job on the NFL net tonight? He's a Reid guy, because they all coached back in the day with Walsh, Reid, Holmgren, Ucci, Gruden, etc. Great staff back then in the hayday for the 49ers with Montana, Roger Craig, Jerry and the scrappy lines on the O and D, plus their backers were the bomb! Ronnie Lott and the other DBs weren't too shabby either.
Mariucci would look good in Kelly Green and running the Eagles, he wouldn't have to shake up too much of a roster, he would just need to draft some linemen who can move their feet and get rid of Vick for a 7th round pick, perhaps the Raiders would take Vick. And kick Cromartie and Asumghah (spelling) in the assets or trade them too.
