what a game. Durant is unbelievable. I think this Texas team will only get better. They're young and they've played in some huge games already coming up on the losing side in a couple. These kids may be more hungry as the season goes on.

Durant and Texas

Durant and Texas

I think the Horns are a good bet to win the national title at whatever the odds are right now. They must be at least 30-1. Durant is that good. Remember Syracuse in 2003? I do because I am a HUGE Syracuse fan. Carmelo was very special and carried that team all year. With that said, Durant is even better than Carmelo was this early in his freshman year!

Mr Sun Tzu,

"Okie State has 2 national titles and 2 final fours in last 10 years, is higher ranked and favored, and the fans rush the floor?"

Did you not watch that game? It was one of the greatest regular season college basketball games ever. Even the LOSING coach Rick Barnes was smiling after the LOSS. Maybe they rushed the floor because they were enthralled at such a great game. Those same fans are the ones that have made Gallagher-Iba arena one of the top 2 or 3 arenas in the country.

"They don't have a choice. That arena is such dogshit if anybody stands up the center court camera is blocked"

You obviously have not attended an OSU home game in the last 6 years. The facilities are TOP NOTCH and far from "dogshit". However, the arena is NOT conducive to televised games due to the sharp angle which the stands rise from the floor and the close proximity of the stands to the court. It has been this way forever. It is a sacrifice the rabid OSU fans will make to have one of the premier environments in college basketball. "Don't knock it to you try it."

Dear Saint,

"It's too bad curry got busted w/ that bag o' weed back in the day....carolina could use that outside shooting. I guess OSU must be enjoying the sloppy seconds."

"Sloppy seconds Curry" is averaging 18.0 ppg and shooting 42% from beyond the arc. UNC has one player who averages more points than "Sloppy seconds Curry" and that is their ALL-WORLD center Tyler Hansbrough and he is averaging a whopping 18.6 ppg. UNC has NOT ONE PLAYER that shoots 42% from 3-pt land. I can assure you that Roy Williams would KILL for "Sloppy seconds Curry" right now.

With all that said OSU is overrated right now and will be no threat in the tourney this year. They do not have the inside presence to be a real threat. But anyway GO POKES!!!!

The Heartland
OSU continually goes for the trouble makers that nobody else wants. They are the classic example of selling your soul for a win. Curry is just one example. Adarius Bowman, WR on the football team, has also been in trouble with the law and kicked off of the UNC football team. Previously they signed a Tulsa stud that no one else would touch named Prentice Elliott. He got in a fight with a police officer in high school. The current coach Mike Gundy was praised for "cleaning up the program" by kicking him off the team, but then goes and signs this Bowman. OSU has become a juvy center for troubled teens. Most kids that get in this kind of trouble have to go to Junior College and prove themselves before a D-1 school will consider them, they don't have to now, sign with the Aggies.
