CINCINNATI REDS -135 ? The Reds have become legitimate contenders for the NL Central crown with their 27-18 record. After posting one of the worst home records in all of baseball last season, they have turned things around this year, going 14-8 at home. Dessens has pitched much better than his 2-3 record, as he has an excellent 2.45 ERA and a very good WHIP of 1.22 in 55 innings. Most importantly, he has never allowed a run in 2 starts vs. Florida, pitching 16 scoreless innings against them! Dempster had been a major disappointment for the Marlins at 2-4. Florida has lost all 5 of his road starts this year, and he allowed 13 Men on Base in 7 innings the last time he faced the Reds.
