Checked out radar looks good. Hope to take kids to sundays game. These games have got to be played rain or shine; they are already playing 2 thurs. Cant have any more rain-outs. Taken the marlins again, Perez has them playing well, Boles did a nice job baby sitting these guys and now Perez is got them playing at the next level.
boles is the one that brought all of these guys in after the fire sale allot of people forget that ,he was the man behind all of the player personal discisions,he got a raw deal,and handled it with class ,you didnot once here him say well dick mo dan has an era that doesnot stop and they only reason he is still here is because no one is going to pick up a 3.5 mill salary for a washed up trouble maker,remember the story in spring training he gave last year for the stitches in his hand,said he got into it with a guy who was talking about his wife,then the real story came out that him and his brother were drunk got in a fight and there mom had to call metro-dade to break it up,and word got out even though they tried to cover it up,just my thoughts on dick mo,then after he ran his mouth and said 80% of the players said they felt the same way and not one backed his story,then goes back to the sun sential and said i didnot think this would cost him his job,he is a cancer that has only hurt the team ,if they could of moved him boles would still be there and they would be winning because club house turmoil would of been gone,but the guy with the cheapest paycheck goes in this business if you cant unload the player.he sucks and is bad for a clubhouse he did the same shit in pittsburgh.

After winninhg the W.S. the fire sale got ugly. I always thought that whoever came in was going to be a maker and builder, without getting any glory. You have to remember that the Marlins in '97 had Kevin Brown, Leiter, Rob Nen, Sheffield, Bonilla, Conine, C. Johnson, Alou, Livan Hernandez, Devon White and Alex Fernandez. I think most folks recognize these names. Today, and since 1987 they have had Preston Wilson, Cliff Floyd, D. Lee, R. Dempster, Millar, Lowell... all brought in by Boles, mostly from farm system. Yeah, they sucked for a couple of years and ever since the seats at Pro Player have been empty, but these kids get it done, play to 4 - 5,000 people or less at home and are in the run.
Just a tid-bit. I respect Boles a lot, also Perez. But I know Boles did the work after Huizenga bought the World Series to later sell them at the highest price.

Hey Fletch havent forgotten what Bole did and he did it well. Problem was he couldnt stand up to management. He wanted to play certain guys but was prety much told not to rock the boat. Dumbrowski made some trades and wanted his guys playing. Miceli shouldnt even cap the guys name, what an a$$hole; He is already talking about going to japan to play, no one wants him. Boles stuck to his guns and did get shaft job, word is he told Dombrwski the only way he will go is to be fired didnt want to be a yes man. He did a hell of a job and He will do well at his next job. Im sure Perez took this job under his terms and does have them playing tougher ball. You know some guys do listen to some one whos been there. But Boles did get Screwed.
