Among Libtards!!
second meeting this month for these top 10 teams. I looked over this game before looking at the line, and I had this game pegged at cincy -8...given the fact that home court is worth 5 points and cincy was a 3-point favorite at marquette, I figured 8 was about right. With that said, am I getting suckered in here? The 9th ranked team in the country is getting 11-points from a team they have owned the last 3 meetings...3 SU and ATS wins.

Marqutte: 23-3 SU (12-8 ATS)....8-3 SU (7-3 ATS) on the road
Cincy: 25-2 SU (14-10 ATS)....12-0 SU (5-5 ATS) at home

Marquette averages: 74 ppg....and allows 59 ppg
Cincy averages: 78 ppg....and allows 58 ppg

In the first meeting, Marquette shot 23-46 (50%)..slightly above their 48% season average. Cincy shot 22-54 (41%)..well below their 47% season average. Marquette outrebounded Cincy 31-25 in the first meeting.

Looking over all of the season stats...given how even these two teams are on paper...given the fact that Marquette has won 3 straight SU and ATS...given the fact that Marquette isn't intimidated or scared of Cincy...given the fact that Marquette is HOT right now...given the fact that this is for the top spot in conference USA, I'm gonna roll with the golden eagles +11 until someone on here can convince me otherwise. All comments and suggestions welcomed...thanks in advance.

taoist...the good nights for me have been far too inconsistent lately, so tonight was a nice change of pace. As far as the Marquette game, it is good to hear from someone who follows the league closely that you feel I'm thinking right...been reading your posts since I've been on board at MJ's, and I respect your thoughts...thanks again.

On the season, here is the averages for david diggs.

Not trying to change your mind but just wanted to point out that if Cinnci was -3 at Marquette and home court is worth 5, then Cincy would have been -8 on a neutral court. If you add the 5 for home court that would make the line Cinn -13 tonight. Just some food for thought. Good luck tonight.

Homecourt is generally attributed 4pts...first game in Marquette was at 2.5/3...add 8 pts for the swing with the game in Cincy and you get 10.5/11.

Excuse me, but I really do not care the line, the spread or whatever, I just know Cinncy should kick and kick and kick the ass of Marquette, and that should happen.

good luck, and later!! :D

The alst month or so you can throw 1st H leads out the window,
very few teams have been able to sustain them. Lot of second Half crumbling or comebacks depending which side you are on.
Cincy gave up 44 2nd H points +/- week ago after less than 20 1st half points and didn't cover. Tonight looks very similar.
Think they are overrated. gl!

i disagree....Cincy is a very good team.......Marquette is underrated........they should be a 1 seed if they beat Cincy......or at least in the drivers seat for it.......

Don't think they belong in the top 5, 2nd H tonight example why.
I think they are both good teams, don't feel cici should be rated as high as they are
