On Monday it was reported 6 players were cited back in January for being underage in a local club. No big deal right. Most notable players Todd mayo, Vander Blue and wilson. DJO was there but he is 21 and was not cited. There is more to the story and it has yet been broken but will it before Thursday? The real problem here is there was a fight and it could lead to nothing, misdeameanor charges or felony battery assault. A non player was was assaulted with a weapon and it appears DJO thats Johnson-Odom was involved. Will this be a distraction for Marquette? Buzz Williams will have to address this which definetely will be a distraction for Marquette. Stay tuned when will story break?

I tend to agree with roy williams that marquette Is one of the most underrated teams in the country..I would hate too see something like this be a distraction for a team that really could win the whole thing......I hope its a non issue for the sake of wanting a competitive game and exciting sweet 16 matchup......oh ya I also have quette in my final 4

It was all over the news stations..
HC Buzz Williams tempered his remarks but it is well known he is on fire about the Timing of the Media Release...
Recently released police reports say that those players went to Apt. 720 Club, 720 N. Milwaukee St., in downtown Milwaukee on Jan. 29. The tickets were served on the athletes on March 12.

Clear, the team's head coach is trying to move on. "We handled it on January 29th within our team. We handled it with the administration on January the 30th. That was a Monday. That's all I have to say about it." said head coach Buzz Williams.

Earlier this year, Milwaukee police issued Juan Anderson, Vander Blue, Jamail Jones, Todd Mayo, Jake Thomas, and Derrick Wilson with citations.

The students did violate the school's alcohol policy by being in the presence of alcoholic beverages. Still, coach Williams argues it happened months ago, and he questions the timing of a newly released report -- especially as his players await the Sweet 16 match up.

"The players got their citations on March the 12th.. that doesn't add up to me," said Williams.

What hasn't been brought up and is still being invstigated is the assault on a patron which Darious Johnson-Odom is isaid to be involved in.
