looking at laying the 35 w/maryland....perry and suter are healthy.....the defense is now jelling....same sort of scenario as last year`s slow start and furious finish....this IS a very good football team.....eastern mich looks to be very bad....maybe worse than last year....

check the stats in the md-west va game....the defense is finding itself..totally dominated west va.....e mich can`t run the ball and maryland`s secondary is very strong(especially vs this level)....

i expect maryland to lay it on e mich....maybe without even really trying....they have a history of smashing the bad teams under freidgen...and after the slow start,i don`t expect them to let up....

granted, motivation is a little iffy vs this level....clemson on deck.....at home.... but,e.mich has the interstate grudge match against rival western michigan next week...

maybe 50-10.....e mich may not score...if maryland stays focused....g.l.

I'm right with ya, weasel, and will probably lay a decent amount on this one. MD could easily be up 35 at HT. This EMU team is putrid and I think MD is about to go on a run like they did after the first few games last season.

south carolina+17(bought a point at-129)......tenn has auburn, georgia and alabama on deck......sort of a sandwich game for the vols......may be a little letdown off the huge florida road win.........

i understand that i`ll need the gamecocks to score a few points here........hoping for a little tennessee letdown and look ahead.......

the vols didn`t exactly bury fresno and marshall at home......i sensed a little lack of focus for the vols in those games....maybe again here.....especially with three tough games on deck.....so carolina should play their usual scrappy game.....dinkins appears to be improving......demetrius summers has some promise at running back...

4)n tx-18.......coming down in competition....whole defense back....back to business..

5)utah+7....great to me as a road dog...powerful running game.....physical team whwn playing at their level....payback for getting roughed up at home vs the rams.....not sure how good that colo st "d" is....

5.B)kansas +11.......burgeoning offense with whittemore at qb.....missou "d' not special.....battle of qb`s.....

5.c).....over 60 in kansas -missou...

maryland is the stronger play for me....g.l.

may be leaning lightly

may be leaning lightly

5d)stanford +14....with my udub expert pt1gard and taking a flier on the stanford cardinal +14....

they have played pretty solid "d"(giving up some passing yards but being stingy with the points)..... and the change at qb seems to have given them a spark....

udub has 2 of the ugliest, luckiest covers vs idaho and indiana in recent memory....stanford should be a step up in competition level(hopefully).....

worth a shot....

5e)no carolina +20.....multiple key injuries for wolfpack.....rivalry.....durant should score enough to stay in it...

5 touchdowns don't sound like much.....i like it...but i stuck on texas and okla state lately ..been winning with those 2..

with the cross matchups on conferences over the last 2/3 years capping is getting harder on the medicore teams but the cash still lies in some of the top 5 rank teams

gw,

i agree that maryland will go on a major roll for the season & imo will not lose a game for the rest of the season.

good luck this season

I am a MD season ticket holder so I have follow this team all season. I think this game will be 56-7. They havnt scored on MD the last 2 years and this MD team is better than the previous 2 years teams. I know everyone saw MD lose to N Illinois and Flo st but Flo st now ranked #6 and N Illinois went to Alabama and won so no real shame in losing 2 road games to two very good teams.

Also MD is healthier now than the beginning of the season. G Bryant had come back which makes that OL much much better. MD is coming off dominating West Virginia 34-7. Their offense is finally coming around and their starting Defense allowed only 75 total yards through 3 quarters of play vs. West Virginia.

Maryland will go on a roll again this season..

5* Maryland -34.5

------------------------------------------------------
-In the previous two meetings, the Terps have been dominant, outscoring Eastern Michigan by the score of 95-6. In two games, EMU has yet to post a touchdown and has been kept off the scoreboard in six of eight quarters.

-Maryland?s wins over Eastern Michigan the last two years have been complete on both sides of the ball. In the two contests, the Terps have put up 518 rushing yards compared to EMU?s 129 (an average of 259-65) and 525 passing yards compared to the Eagles? 273 (263-137).

ruins an almost monster day...i`ll take 6-2....but if maryland hits,it`s katie bar the door and the windows.....

oh well.....lesson learned....after a disastrous week one,we are doing well and well in the black again.........although it`s a strange season with some very strange results.....thanks to anybody i mentioned in my thread that brought my attention to some decent opportunities(pt1gard and jeff among others)

g.l. tomorrow and next week...let`s keep it rollin` downhill...
