i went to UMD and agree they dont deserve to get in but UAB cmon!! They didnt beat 1 team in the top 50. We alteast swept Duke and beat G tech and Memphis.... N Iowa lost 7 games in the $hitty MVC and lost 10 overall..... ND or Miami of Ohio shoulda gotten in over UAB and N Iowa....
agreed with you smurphy. All UMD had to do was beat clemson 1 time in a 10 day stretch.. they blew it but still N Iowa is a joke
Clemson beat the hell out of the turtle, three times. None of the games were ever in doubt in the second half. Our freshmen-laden team had a good time with Maryland. Don't complain Maryland fans, I would say that given our success against you, Clemson was more deserving of a bid than you were.
That said, I think N. Iowa is legit, but UAB is a little shaky. Would have loved Buffalo in that spot.

Please tell me how N. Iowa is legit? 7 loses in the MVC conference.. cmon man. They have no big time wins. Nowfor UMD, yeah i agree they dug themselves their own hole. You can say UMD pounded Duke twice and hence we own them.. blah blah. UMD didnt deserve to make it, i agree, but they did deserve it over N. Iowa. Those bums didnt even make their own conference finals..... Why do you think N Iowa should have made it? Miami of Ohio, Buff & ND are much better....

The MVC is not as much of a trash conference as you make it seem. There are some quality teams in that league that have proven their worth over time in the NCAAs. N. Iowa had good wins within their conference and played a tough OOC schedule. They had a high RPI number and did everything that they could to get to the dance.
They are just as worthy as Notre Dame, Maryland, or Buffalo.

Let's agree to disagree in this case. The MVC maybe has 3 opr 4 solid teams (at most). They finished 4th in the conference and thier best win was against S Illinois. To lose 7 conference game (and 10 games overall) and not even make the finals of your conference tourney and get in?? sounds very suspect to me. Buffalo got further an missed out. ND yes is soft and all but they beat Pitt, Uconn, Nova and some more solid wins. Losing to Rutgers was terrible but man N. Iowa to me is not a top 65 team... just my 2 cents...
These ACC teams are not the problem....problem will be the REFS..... If they run into some " BUCKAROOS"..he he he
