Even though we got a 6 seed I love our draw, we can play with any team in the bracket and should be no worse than PK against Xavier. We did lose to Florida early in the year but it was <5 pt game IIRC. Of course UNCW and Xavier are no pushovers but I like out chances.

my local can have my money if maryland cannot beat xavier. xavier is a good team.maryland has depth and they have played a tougher conference schedule.

:firing:watch out for the a-10 dayton and xavior are 9 deep and with studs on both- the acc is very weak this year jmo
I agree that both Dayton and Xavier are tough (I have Dayton winning 2 games). Just saying that as a fan, MD's chances of getting back(-to-back-to-back!) to the final 4 are much better than I had hoped.
Yes, I remember Pepperdine and College of Charleston. I did get to watch a couple of UNCW games during their tourney... they looked decent, but I don't think they're in the same class as MD. I would estimate (WAG) MD wins that game 80-85%. Either way I will not be wagering on MD - that is the only team I am a real 'fan' of in any sport and I cannot bet them objectively.
