why I bet on Sergio I have no idea, but he's going to do to me today what Ross Fischer did to me yesterday. Down 3 thru 5.

ROUND 3

NICK WATNEY (+100) over RETIEF GOOSEN
Goosen says afterward that he needs to "tweak" a few things. Huh? He looked like he didn't know where the next tee was?

BRAIN GAY (+156) over PAUL CASEY
Gay doesn't owe me a cent.....gonna ride this horse as far as he takes me. (We may have hit the wire, but nonetheless.....)

3rd round play (2pts):

Luke Donald to beat Oliver Wilson -137 @ Unibet [available generally]
Once again opposing a player who went to extra holes in the previous round with someone who had an easy win. There may also be a letdown effect after Wilson defeated Rory McIlroy yesterday, but in truth he was only level-par after 18 holes, so no matter the scalp, it was really McIlroy who lost that match rather than Wilson winning it. By contrast, Donald has been 4-under-par and 5-under-par in his first two rounds and comes into this event on the back of 2nd and 16th place finishes on the PGA Tour in the last two weeks. He may struggle against some of the bigger-hitting players in this format, but not against Wilson.

Quarter-Final play (2pts):

Camilo Villegas to beat Retief Goosen -106 @ Expekt [available generally]
Villegas has secured some notable scalps in the in-form Dustin Johnson and multiple-winner Geoff Ogilvy, as well as Ben Crane, without even being taken to the 18th hole. Quite the opposite for Goosen who was taken to the 20th hole by Ernie Els and needed a birdie on the last hole to defeat Nick Watney yesterday. The edge should be with the younger, fresher player.

Caseys 3rd hole was hilarious. it's like he had never played in cold rainy weather before. hit his tee shot on par 3 203 yards, about 90 yards in front of the lake :mj07: :mj07: then chunked his approach to a par 3 into the water :0corn :0corn

I didnt see it. I kind of had to take a few days away from golf after that stunt Stenson played.
The sad thing is, in my work pool I have a Casey Poulter finale.. but gambling wise I dropped 500 on this event :(

Taking Poulter to win @ -101..

Don't really care who he plays. I wasn't that impressed with either today (albeit today was the first day I watched any of the event)
