The other day I was at Mohegan Sun playing craps. I was playing the World bet on a come out roll. First roll was a 3 I pressed the bet five dollars. The next four rolls were all snake eyes. Four 2's in a row! I was lucky enough to be upping my bet 5 bucks each time.

My question, what is the odds of throwing four 2's in a row?

Thats what I was thinking 36x36x36x36

:scared Poor guy throwing the dice was just playing the pass line, in fact the whole table was playing the pass line I was the only guy with any middle of the table bets.

He went on to make a couple of points and also threw at least two more 2's in the next 10 or 12 throws.

I used to say Only at Mohegan Sun butI am seeing more and more crap numbers thrown everywhere.

I've been wanting to learn how to play craps but don't exactly know where to start. I know most of the stuff you see is just bs marketing. Is there a good book for strategies or a webite(forum)? If I sit down with 500.00 am I going to be able to play for a while? I suck at blackjack and basically know that I'm walking away very quickly as a loser. I don't do it anymore because I blow thru money so quickly. The craps table always looks like the best time in the house but I'm not plunking down chips without knowing some kind of strategy.

if you find a 5-10$ min table 500 should be enough for a while unless you do terrible. Play the pass line, always take odds, and bet some regular numbers 4,5,6,8,9,10. Just 2 #s or so and if the table is hot and there is a long roll you will make a lot pretty quickly. The downside is you lose fast on a table that cant hit a point.

$500 is plenty. There are a ton of sites to explain the game. Once you get started it is not as confusing as it looks. In fact it is pretty easy to learn.

craps and blackjack are my two favorite games to play at the casino, craps is fun when you have a shooter get hot and you take the odds

Craps is like baccarat.....it looks like a complicated game to play, but it really isn't.

Also...........

Craps and Baccarat by far best odds of any table game.
