Where it is real F ing COLD
I pick BUST

Going to ruffle some LSU feathers but the guy looks too small to me, yeah he put up some nice numbers when throwing for Green Bay but that's just it, it's Green Bay. Now he goes to Seattle where his receiving weapons are not as good, with an offensive coordinator from the Brad Childress mold in Derrell Bevel :mj07:

A telling sign that the guy is not going to pan out is that Joe Philbin coach of the Dolphins has been his offensive coordinator in Green Bay, if he thought Flynn was the real deal, I would of expected him to go out and get him..

6'2 225... not really a pip squeak. It's the fact that he's thrown a total of 132 balls for 1015 yds that scares me :scared

Not a very big sample size, and he was on a pretty good team.

What bearing does your opinion of Matt Flynn have on LSU? Ruffle feathers...lol

As for Flynn, imo the lowball offer from Miami is not a good sign. I honestly have no idea how he will perform in Seattle, but I do know that he is fearless and has a great attitude. He had time to commit elsewhere when it was learned LSU landed the #1 QB (Jamarcus Russel), but he opted to compete. He lost the competition and rode the pine for 4 years, but his patience paid off when he won a national title as a senior.

Watched him in plenty of preseason games and the last two years he had a couple of pretty impressive starts (NE 2010, DET 2011). This guys the real deal. He'll perform if you can put some talent around him and reminds me of Matt Schaub.

I'm saying Bust if you force me, but agree he's a game manager and will put up numbers at times, but other times will struggle. Doesn't possess anything that makes him special (size, arm, speed, etc). Like the kid, but other than a couple of games have never been impressed and decimating the Lions secondary doesn't mean you have made it.

:0074 my best friends dad was his middle school coach and he told me that Matt was the best athlete to come through Hubbard bar none. He thinks he will be a starter for years in the NFL...cool to have someone to pull for from Tyler :toast:
