Matt Harvey Suspended 3 Days Without Pay for Violation of Mets Rules

New York Mets general manager Sandy Alderson announced Sunday a three-day suspension of pitcher Matt Harvey for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

"We'll keep it in-house, the way it's supposed to be," manager Terry Collins said, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.

Harvey, 28, was scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins. Adam Wilk got the spot start in his place.

DiComo reported Collins held a team meeting to address the situation.

The team did not address the reasoning for Harvey's suspension.

The Mets, who have struggled to a 14-15 start out of the gate, are also without starter Noah Syndergaard. The 2016 All-Star is dealing with a torn lat in his pitching arm.

U divide his salary up and it's around 180,000 a day so that a half million fine for having a sex toy in his locker. Im sure he will appeal it and they will nock it down but its still alot of money.

Simply put, Matt Harvey is a spoiled rich boy who's opinion of himself is far greater than most others.

All you here this guy say is that He's the man, wants to be leader of rotation....The Go-To guy sort to speak...

Truth is hes been found "Lacking" in many categories over his time with the Metropolitans and in all likelihood, the #4 starter behind daGrom, Sinderblock, and Matz at this point..

As a fan of said baseball team ( ever since My uncle Aldo took me to Shea in late 1968 and caught a foul ball hit by #20 Tommie Agee). Those might remember the Mets CF for his great catches during the Playoffs and World Series in 69', but he was a poor man's Willie Mays to us. He also fashioned the basket catch and was in the 30/20 ( HR/SB) club back when that meant something. That was nearly 47 years ago yikes.

Harvey is a guy most of us fans have a hard time rooting for as he has been "The Jackass" more times than we want to admit collectively.

Did I mention He"s sporting a 5.14 ERA ??????

Most of us would like him to stop being a gutless child and either Grow a pair, Buy a pair at Balls r Us, or rent some......Either way,

Just SHUT THE PHUCH UP AND PITCH..

Actually I would trade him for a good bottle of Irish and a box of Habanos!!!!!
