Derrick Brooks was on Mike and Mike this morning talking about how defensive players dislike qbs due to their arrogance and the league protecting them more than the other players.

He talked about not having a good qb while he was playing and Dilfer came up specifically. He said he has to laugh and bite his lip everytime Dilfer gives his "professional" opinion on how the qb position should be played.

Just because Dilfer didn't have the talent it took to be a great qb doesn't mean he doesn't have the talent to evaluate players and qbs. I agree that Brooks doesn't speak very well. He plays well though.

I'm actually glad someone tore into Young a little - he's so freaking arrogant, and he DOES think he knows more than anyone about everything. Right or wrong, I'd say Millen was right on this, IMO, and he's probably tired of Young's schtick after a few weeks.
