I narrow the field using a basic dog system formula (only consider +100 to +150, opponent cannot have a starting pitcher in the Sargarin Top 20 pitcher ratings, and they cannot be on a 3 game or more losing streak)...The last 17 days is one of the categories I look at when evaluating teams (tonight COL is 8-5 last 17 days and Stl is 7-6) I am mainly looking for the dog to be .500 or better over the last 17 days...I then look at the starting pitchers and their teams win lose record when they start and cross reference the two pitchers compiling a record of 7-6 in favor of Colorado tonight...last thing I consider is the WLCS catagory on the blankets daily stat sheet and cross reference the teams, in tonight's game Colorado holds 13-8 advantage...hope this helps for anyone out there wondering how I pick the doggies...I usually dont really get hot and heavy into games until this time of year...I do expect to hit between 55%-60% on my dog plays
Its the same stat sheet that you would get when you go to any sportsbook in vegas (blankets is another site)...WLCS is the statistical category on that stat sheet
