OK, it's Sunday, everybodys off work (I hope), the tracks should be over flowing (yeah, right),
this forum should be rocking :mj07:
so let's see if we can git dat cash!
Spent at least 2 HOURS yesterday studying the card for today and still didn't make it to the 9th race. Still, after you've seen the number of horses that I have - SPOTTING a potential winner only takes seconds and seems to work best for me.
My figures tell me that there's two running today that may not need any inspections though. Well, one of them anyway.
These two .... .. .
4th Race
No. 8, Boss Rules, 8-1 M.L. looks like the one. Class drop and jockey are only two things of many that point this one out. I gotta mention that I've had bad luck playing this horse though. Exacta players may want to use the 1,4, or 6 with her OR just get a side order of the no. 4. After i do all the dang figurin, I look over the race and look at stuff that the nos. can't tell me about. The no. 4 (and maybe the no. 1 too) look like they could upset this apple cart. Yet, as long as her nose ain't 2 inches from the ground as she mopse around in the paddock, no way I don't play no. 8.
6th Race
No. 5, Sweet Ginger Brown, 6-1 . What a race to come up with a best bet of the day, Sheesh. First turf race of the year for Philly, FULL field, mass confusion. This one rates too good to pass up though. I like this one enough to git it right now, but I capped it for the turf and I need to make sure they'll use the turf AND who, if any, gets scratched. The play is either a little heavy on the W/Pl/Sh 3x thingy ... OR, just wheel her top/bottom with ALL the rest (too many good ones to chance missing a nice Philly style zacta) in exactas. NOT the $2 type neither and I ain't a big bettor.
Almost forgot... NICE name for a hoss too!
There's others that I capped for today but they're not plays until I checkem out first. Lets leave it at those two for now.
G.L.
