anyway, the state of washington has become a hot bed in hoops last 6 years or so ... I talked to an out of state D1 coach recently and he says seattle area is one of ripest areas in Nation now; there are some incredible HS players here now and kids keep coming up ... for the UW and Zags to almost make final 8 speaks volumes ... Im proud of my state, no matter how they lost :)

The future looks bright for sure. Hawes and Poindexter are going to look good in UW purple!

I thought it would be in Coach K's backyard. And his wife gets to swat at the opposing team with a broomstick.

No...in the spirit of Coach Rat Face shafting UNC with a 3 seed and getting shipped off to Dayton, I think the better UNC team will stay in Carolina and Duke will have to travel...
let me guess...Meadowlands available?

arizona has been recruiting the best out of wash (and ore) for 10 years now

dickerson
terry
marcus williams

(both stoudamires)

love those guys from that state

pac-10 is gonna be really good next year but think it's arizona/ucla at the top with uw/cal next in line (if powe comes back) and sc in the mix

osu-wsu-asu will stink again

Not picking on Washington at all............lets also not forget last years #2 Marvin Williams and Portlands #1 Webster and NY's #1 Nate Robinson were from Washington.........Heck in the last 2 years we could field 2 final four teams from Washington alone.........I think Romar has completely rebuit the Huskie program from prized Washington recruits.......

i know mav, ur solid .. gin, marcus is my boy, came to a camp i ran when he was 9 and i got him hooked up with aau deal, worked with him 1on1 for several years ... if i was good recruiter, I woulda talked him into coming to play at my HS hehe; he went to my alma mater instead and avg 33 a game and led state in scoring ... but i dont get into that recruiting nonsense ... if you ever meet him, say hi from me :)

if he's smart and avoids the hype....he should come back next year, make a run to the final four (with the talent coming we should have a great chance) and become a lottery pick next year.......some whispers are floating around that he is toying with the draft this year.....bad move......but he's sees marvin and martell getting paid

because then they wouldn't get a free pass to the ncaa every year.

and they also would need a football team.

Do you think maybe the refs had something to do with it. Why do they have it out for the state of Washington. Seahawks have the Super Bowl taken from them by the refs. Gonzaga same thing and last night the Huskies 22 free throws and Uconn 47 free throws are you Shitin Me. Pathetic.
