gonzaga doesnt have a football team or the acadmeic requirements to join the pac-10 or bring any kind of tv market to the mix
if anybody is ever gonna make it into the pac-10 (conf would likely expand by 2 not one)

UCLA shut zaga down at the end of the game and hit the shots they needed. Uconns win, specially with OT and foul outs the refs may have been a factor...but thats life. If you can't win, you can't win.
And I *LOVED* all the talk about Washington Us academic issues. They talked about Roy like hes some kind of hero for having to take the SAT 4 times working as a janitor just to get in. And you are telling me he's actually passing college classes? I know this issue isn't isolated - its with all the major D1 programs and its disgusting. If the NCAA had any balls and wanted to put its 'students first' money where it's mouth is then theyd implement this:

I have to admit, he's right. I think Dukes overrated and I am not a big fan. Though, when they did things right this year it was kind of pretty to watch. That said, LSU controlled the game the whole time. It wasn't like Duke was winning by 13 pretty much the whole game, only to squander it. It does seem that any Duke loss is classified as a choke though.
I didn't see the UNC game, so I can't comment.

vegas and sd are the only west coast markest left and both are pretty big pac-10 markets anyway and unlv-sdsu have no business being in the pac-10 as far as academics go.
hoenstly, i dont think the pac-10 is too interested in expanding anyway......but if they do, it would be because of football (and a tv contact for a conf title game)
