Maybe Obama-Farrakan-Wright and Sharpton might march theirs asses down there for worthwhile cause--you think Scotty ;)

In 1995, along with other prominent black leaders such as Al Sharpton and Barack Obama, Farrakhan helped lead the Million Man March on Washington. A second march, called the Millions More Movement, took place in 2005

John McCain really cares, if this were not a election year would he care? This was the last time a big storm blew into New Orleans, this is how they really feel. Now they don't want the heat of another Katrina months before a election.

Not sure where you moonbats got lost, but the reason Bush/Cheney tanked is because they started acting like lefties with outrageous spending including a ridiculous Medicare part D bill which was a payoff to pharm. companies.

Now if you have 2 parties who are spending the country into the tank, you have a country going down the tank.

That is our current situation.

Finally, the conservatives have a chance to take back the party.

It begins with Palin and hopefully will continue. A Leiberman choice would have kept the Bush/Cheney legacy moving forward.

We have someone finally from outside the beltway, who understands middle America, who IS middle America. That is the best shot at reforming the government as there has been in ages.

You make good points here. The worst part about Iraq is that at $10B a month it is not being paid for. Let's see if these 2 have a plan to balance their budget which was completely flushed down the toilet in the last 8 years. You can't fight a regional war for 5 years and not make sacrifices to pay for it.

I agree, Iraq should have to pay for it with their oil. But no one in politics will come out and say that. Maybe it will take an outsider to do what needs to be done -- Free oil for Free rebuilding.

Then the problem you have with her is the guy that heads the ticket. McCain voted with Bush 90 percent of the time. I am not sure what you hope to get out of her if McCain is elected....except I understand the PTA loves her cookies.

Geez StevieD thats a nice little catch phrase but Obama votes for tax and spending 100% of the time

Personally, I think Bush spends way too much and mismanaged his administration way too much but I am not sure how he votes (other than spending too much)

So that 90% doesnt really mean much now does it.

I am looking for a competent manager (for the war, economy, national disasters) and someone who will cut spending. Now you tell me why I would think Obama would be better at those two issues.

I am sure yours us a vote that obama is not counting on. What I don't understand is why you are so hot for Sarah when the top of the ticket is a Liberal Republican. She may be a Conservative but McCain is not. What is her stand on Illegal Aliens? Nation Building?

It's simple Freeze... Because he cares. It's been painfully obvious for 8 years that Bush & Cheney don't (care). Why don't you explain to us how McCain cares and would be a better steward of our tax dollars than Obama would? In his acceptance speech Thursday night, Obama listed 29 ways he would address these and other issues. Perhaps you weren't one of the 38 million who saw it. I know it was too painful for my conservative friends to watch. Denial can be comforting but facing reality can actually be cathartic. Something to think about.

Because he cares? Are you kidding me? Do you think he cares as much about you as he does his brother (a guy living in a hut in war-torn Africa on a dollar a day). Geez I see Barry Obama really cares about us.

McCain has consistently voted against PORK. He has been solid in doing this. I consider PORK spending to be the number 1 problem with regards to our spending problem. That is ACTION something that Hussein Obama would never know.

Quick lesson for you: Judge people by their actions, not by what they say. This is especially the case for evaluating politicians.

Brother?? You mean one of the many offspring he's never met, sired by a father he's only met once and you expect him to what? Go around the world tracking down every con-artist who claims to be related to him? Puh-lease...
