What an idiot this guy is! D'Amico is pitching a gem, and he decides to pull him because Wilkerson is left-handed and he's 2 for 2 on the day. Little does he realize, Wilkerson is hitting .373 against lefties and .267 against righties. Odds say that Wilkerson is due for an out against the righty D'Amico. So what does McClendon do? He increases the hitter's odds by bringing in the lefty Beimel. Furthermore, the Pirates' bullpen needs some more rest after two 15 inning marathons this past weekend. Of course Wilkerson ended up hitting a triple and driving in two runs. I can't figure out some of these knucklehead skippers.
