Smooth ur not gonna miss him??? how in the hell cna ya say ur not gonna miss one o9f the best long bvall hitters in the history of baseball let alone his overall average...this guy was a leader for kids and a great role model...tips my hat or Big Mac

At least he's not gonna just keep hanging around. Had a great career, but really did nothing but hurt the Cards when he was in the lineup this year, besides Pujols is the man in St. Louis now.

That man hit baseballs farther than any man on the planet...........Everyone was in awe when he was puttin on a show....bitter ass or not....I'll miss him

I'll remember when he & Canseco were the biggest threats playing for Oakland. Those guys are still big musclemen, who can still rip the cover of a ball. I was lucky enough to see them play at yankee stadium & at shea. I admired them and also inspired me when i played ball. I will miss big mac he was a great role model for everyone. The all star home run contest was memorable in boston. The moon shots he hit were just amazing, how can you not have been thrilled.

Ditto ddubs...but BIG MAC is a different story...my son thinks he is the bomb, my little ten year old will grow up with visions
of towering home runs, thanks to Mac...and
that's what it's all about...hero's for the
youngsters and Mac was a good one...IMHO
