I grew up on about 40 acres and we still own a 60 acre woods/farm where we target shoot on a regular basis. .

What, you have a hard time believing I grew up on a large piece of property in the country? Or that we own some farmland that is rented out to a farmer? Or perhaps its something else? I am not a farmer, but, I do know that my second ex mothers in law first son owned acreage in Alamo Indiana which he leased out to my second wifes second oldest half sister's second ex-husband who grew alfalfa on the aforementioned land. Not sure why he grew it or if growing it would have anything to do with desiring to shoot a shotgun at some dirt plates. I thought it was as impressive as shooting dirt can be.
