The thing that bothers me the most is that everyday there is someone in this forum that will post something like this...
Boston / New York post your thoughts
Or
Boston / New York what's your take?
That thread will get two replies, but if one person calls someone out or is looking to argue you'll get 65 posts wasting time or backing someone up.
I use this forum everyday; I lurk and check out many thoughts placed by many cappers. I look forward to looking at posts and getting some feedback. That is the key to beating the man.
Perfect example was monday night...I know for a fact that many cappers knew the braves did not get to Toronto until early in the morning, but allot of cappers were still on the braves. If there was a solid discussion about that game, that info would have came out, and it may not have made people play the jays, but it would have made many think twice about playing the heavy chalk on the braves.
Several months ago I got several requests to post in other forums, and I told them that I would try them all out. I was welcomed in every forum, (for the most part) and I had a select few that actually had insight and would respond with good reasoning. However I chose to stay here. Why you ask? There is more than one reason:
1) The reason the other forums heard of JT Sneaks was because of this forum. I made my name here in hoops, and jack would back me and encourage me to keep posting and actually posted an article I wrote "home sweet home" for you historians. Reason One: Loyalty
2) For every knucklehead in this forum there are three superstars, actual good cappers that devote time and energy to post here. You will hardly ever hear them speaking bad of someone or hopping on a bashing bandwagon. That is because they are professionals in every sense of the word.
Reason Two: Professionalism
3) Family, I know it may sound a bit deep, but this is a tight community. Regardless of sex, age, or bad capping.
Everyone is welcomed and given three strikes before they are sent packing. As a matter of fact when a new guy posts here watch how many people step to the plate and say welcome aboard, or look forward to your selections. There is no prejudice in this forum.
Third Reason: Family.
I post here because I am doing my part to help beat the man, and give back to people who help me everyday. I spend hours-researching games and then share them with people who may not deserve to have that info. For every guy who does not deserve that info there is one guy out they?re who I call my friend, and he deserves that info, and I want him to beat the man. I want him to win. I know the people who would stand up for me, and I am thankful, but what I would prefer is that you come to the table with how a team hits a southpaw, or how the braves did not get into Toronto until 5 A.M.
Good Cappers do not post here because they have to, they post here because they want to .
That is something that should be remembered by everyone who visits here.
