If you saw my post yesterday(Dobbs---Media Bias Against Hillary?) then you have to admit I was right. I thought they, the great American journalists I wrote about yesterday;), would wait unitil the fall to bash McCain and tells us how Obama is our only hope.(Sorry, I forgot that they have been cheerleading for Obama since day one) One need only read Eugene Robinson's propaganda...I mean column "McCain doesn't need free ride on Iraq". It's the usual stuff he spews: There is no hope in Iraq; Bush is an idiot; the Iraq goverment won't succeed; just his normal defeatist attitude. However, his last paragragh makes my point for me.:yup I quote:

"If Democrats are going to take several more months settling on a presidential nominee, they had better find some way to stop giving John McCain a free ride on Iraq. He should have to explain why he wants to keep us on George Bush's long, winding path to nowhere."

In other words: Come on Hillary and drop out of the race already. Obama is the "Second Coming" and he will find a way to stop giving McCain a free ride in Iraq. The sooner he starts the better. If McCain is elected, one might as well call it Bush's 3rd term and all hope is lost.

Little did I know my points would be made the next day after I posted my thread on media bias. Thanks Eugene, keep up the good work and God Bless America, but only if we elect Obama, right?!!?:)

Did you see the NBC Evening News tonight? Wonderful human interest piece on Johnny Mac. Nice sound bites from his 91 year old mother (sweet lady). Seems the main stream media is not entirely leftist, now is it?

Hate to say I missed that story, I was watching the new TV series Matthews & Obama on MSNBC. Looks like this show will be the new hit series this spring. With Matthews serving up softball questions and then Obama hitting them out of the park, how could it not be?!!? One could just feel the love with Matthews being in an almost "Orgasmic" state. "You could just feel the electricity in the air" he said afterwards. These 2 have a great thing going and should end up being mentioned in the same breath as Hope & Crosby, Lewis & Martin, Abbott & Costello etc.. Looking forward to their next show..I mean Town Hall meeting. Should be more of the same.

To answer you question JCDunkDogs...No, I do not think the media is entirely leftist but what I saw last night was a little overdone. I mean it was like a campaign ad for Obama. Afterwards, I guess to make himself look objective, Matthews goes on Olbermann & Abrams shows and they tell him how he "Drilled" Obama about some of the points the candidate made. Their definition of "Drilled " is a lot different than mine. Anyway, it is refreshing to hear that NBC did a positive story on McCain...but will it continue throughout the campaign?!!?
