Crude oil and therefore gasoline prices are set on the world market. Since we a net importer with no oil to sell, there's nothing any of us, including the President can do.

We have 2% of the world's oil reserves, and consume 25% of world production.

Unless and until we learn how to use less, OPEC will continue to eat our lunch.

So the next time you see a soccer Mom in her 5000 pound SUV, or Bubba in his F250 dually, remember, THEY are the enemy.
