Not a lot of time this morning to write up a full breakdown of this game so I will just share some statistics that jumped out at me as I was researching these two teams.
Only one time in their last eight games has South Florida gained more than 375 yards and that was against the Big East which is not exactly known for it?s defensive dominance. These are two of the worst offenses in the bowls, and this is the only bowl game where both teams average less than 5 yards per play on offense. It is also one of only two bowls where both teams are allowing 4.5 yards or less on defense.
