I know this may sound like a lame topic, but someone had mentioned his name the other day regarding the Maryland/Duke game. I had never seen the page on CBS where he predicts the scores.

So, my first question is, does anyone follow this guy regularly? Secondly, does anyone bet accordingly to his picks or use them as a guide? and lastly, does anyone know where you can find his past predictions online? I went looking and couldn't find them.

Why am I asking all of this? Well, I had some time yesterday and was looking at his score predictions for some of the West Coast games last night. I don't have access to them anymore, as todays games are the only ones up now. But he had a few score totals that were well above the posted number, which i found odd. I actually played two of them and they came through easily.

**San Diego vs St Mary's
Final score 79-69, closing line 139.5
I think he predicted somewhere around 160

**Montana vs Portland State
Final Score 89-77, closing line I got was 140.5
I think he predicted somewhere around 165

Now, I'm not saying I've discovered something unbelievable, I just found it odd that his predictions were so far over the total on these two games (plus, I think there were a few others). i would just like to be able to look at all the games yesterday and beyond and see how close he was.

Any input or help would be appreciated.

i look his stuff on a regular basis but it is not the onle thing i use for handicapping. His totals seem to be pretty reliable in the NBA. just started using the NCAABB 2 days ago and played the dogs that he had to win outright.they went 2-4 SU and 4-2ATS. :)

You can find Tony Mejia's picks at sportsline.com....go under NCAA hoops and you'll find a link to his predicted scores at the bottom on the home page under Exclusives...I do look at his predicted scores...his SU record this season is 73% so against the spread he can't be any better than 60%...but I do think it is noteworthy when he has a high Total or something odd like Maryland winning outright over Duke the other night...there's no way anyone can cap 100 games in one day so I'm sure he's guessing on some but without knowing him I do know he does make some good calls...for example my interpretation of his lines for tonite's games is that he has no idea of what's going to happen for Princeton (he has Princeton winning by 12, which "coincidentally" is the Vegas line) and Penn winning by more than 12 (the Vegas line) which suggests that he thinks Penn will win ATS...he has Marist winning by just one which to me is interesting vs recent line moves...
