where all all the doubters now?

i see sun tzu still does...

the last two games i have seen are the best from any team in my memory except for maybe UNLV's squad...

when they click on all cylinders like they did in the 1st half against mich st and the whole game against txs they cant be stopped...

when you have 3 nba players on your team, you usually do pretty well

we have 3, maybe 4...

ucla is solid and always has had mem's #...something different this yr

rose may have pushed himself above beasley to the #1 pick with his play in this tourney...how any team could pass on him is beside me

see you in san antonio:0corn

IMO, the Memphis Tigers could beat the Memphis Grizzlies. They are almost a pro team now as you have mentioned.

Wagered on Oct 30.................

3000 to win 27750

Was thinking about hedging but I dont know now..........Memphis may just be the best team..........or they could go 38-1 this yr and lose the last game............then I dont win a thing.........:mj07:

Had New England at +5-1 and didnt hedge........we all know how that turned out

between Memphis and NE there records could be like 56-2 and I would not only win a dime but lose a fair share...........56-2 and lose money:shrug:

Their starting 5 is outstanding and they are probably the deepest team in the CBB on top of that IMO. I am still waiting for my book to give me a line.

Hope to get tickets to the game. Everytime I pass by the Alomodome and see the Final Four posters I get pumped up!!

KANSAS VS MEMPHIS for the title

i know u directed this question to wareagle, but i thought id share my thoughts.

i think memphis will move on to the finals, but u have alot of hedging opportunities. I would probably wait to see how the first half the of memphis UCLA game goes. If UCLA is up small at half, i would consider hedging on the half time line, , assuming u get a good line, and assuming u can wager the amount u want to. since memphis is the slight favorite, if UCLA is up small at half, by 3-4 points or so, than the halftime line would probably be +2.5 to 3.5, maybe higher for UCLA. so if UCLA is up at half, and the line makes it a situation where basically UCLA has to win to cover, i would consider hedging. worse case scenario is UCLA up huge at half, in which case u could lose a potential hedge bet, and memphis could also lose, in that case, i would just hope memphis comes back. memphis has looked impressive, and i think they continue to roll.

this way, u can kind of see how the game goes before u think about hedging. if memphis is up at half, i would probably let it ride, hope they hang on, and wait to hedge at the championship game.

memphis has to beat UNC or kansas and UCLA back to back, not an easy thing to do. they can definetly do it, but i would hate to throw away an opportunity to guarantee urself a profit, a situation that rarely occurs.

gluck with memphis

you cannot let that bet ride even though memphis looks to be the best team out there...

i really dont know how to tell you to approach a hedge, but i would def hedge 5k on ucla somehow

tickets are almost as hard to come by as a hotel room or flight reservation

luckily we know some folks to cover us on all of the above, but i'm unable to help friends out which sucks

Wareagle, bring it home, then hopefully Dixon will leave Pitt, and Calipari will come back to where some of his roots are. I am rooting them too. Have fun.

leave memphis to coach pitt?:mj07:

i know, roots and all...he would be foolish to leave what he has down here...having said that he will and already is in high demand for a number of jobs that are out there right now

I don't think Pitt has a bad program established, and probably are only a few high recruits (to which they will never get) and possibly a coach of his talent to take another step. They make the Big East Championship almost every year, and have been to the sweet 16 a handful of times this decade. They are not far off, and it would not be like he is taking over sh-t and someone like Calipari might be intrigued to coach in the Big East.

Pitt could have had him, and they turned him away. With that said, he does have ties here, but I do agree I might never leave either.

Good luck.
