not sure if this game is on anybody's radar...
have been browsing diff sites for last few hrs reading/scanning looking for reasoning.. more than just a list of plays
anyway, this one guy went into SERIOUS depth on Memphis vs Tulane ...
(doubt anyone would want to read as it was several pages long lol)
but in summation, main points are:
*revenge game from 2/13, tulane tied gm w 3pt at buzzer, won in OT..
*tulane shot their wad last night's game, outright win over Hou as 12 pt dog...
*there was report leaked to espn about how their coach was going to be fired after the (expected Hou loss) game... the HC used it in his pre-game talk, and fired the players up, got the little extra mental focus and effort... and Hou played poorly with little strategy, and found a way to lose...
*So... they shot their wad vs Hou.. Coach used his "they're gonna fire me" tactic and this writer says "that tactic only works once".... and I agree
lastly... Memphis has been hot... has great 3pt and ft shooting %'s, facing a poor defensive team vs 3pt.. etc etc
MY PROBLEM....
he says take em -9.5... first line I access is 11.5.. so I've been waiting for other input
I did make a first half play already... if Memphis truly is 'on a mission'.. and Tulane is finished.. then hopefully the first half will display that fact
