"kickserv, ya gotta get over the fact the leafs were beaten by a better team in the flyers. you rode cechmanek's ass the whole series. how did eddie do? 18 goals in 4 road games including 6 in game seven. he sucked. the leafs heart and grit kept series from going 5 games. ottawa always comes up small in playoffs. go ahead and bet on ottawa and lose more cash."

point #1 ........yes the Leafs lost in 7 games to the Flyers so the Flyers were the better team......if one team beats the other then that team is better.......same holds true for the other 7 winners, they won.....therefore they are better :)

point #2.........The performance by the Leafs in game 7 was pathetic...won't even get into it....best way to describe it would be well guess I already daid it....pathetic.

point #3.........You have to be on crack if you say Roman is a better goalie then Belfour......like give me a break......how many Stanley Cups has Roman won  And by the way...Belfour stopped 3 times as many shots as Roman did........Roman is a horrific goalie who is made to look like he's some god........I mean the Leafs didn't even hit the net half the time (when they did shoot) and made Roman look way better then he actually is.......I mean take a friggen poll of all NHL players and tell me who would say they would want Roman in net over Belfour.........do you honestly expect people to take you seriously when you say crap like "what did Eddie do"? Gimmie a friggen brake....the guy stopped 72 shots in one game alone.....plus he actually makes a big save now and then and he'd give up a rebound on a friggen 6 year old with no arms............the guy is so overrated it's not funny

point #4.............you are right Ottawa are a bunch of chokers and that's the only thing that worries me.....they SHOULD pummel Philly but you make a great point........Ottawa is pretty much pathetic when it counts..........

and as for me.........."losing more cash" I think you'll see that my NHL (and tennis) record speaks for itself (been posting all year) so don't go ripping me when you don't even have a record or post any pics....not exactly a cool thing to do wouldn't ya say  And by the way I did pick 6 of 8 series correct........what did you do....oh yeah that's right....ya didn't post anything :thefinger

at least Aces knows his hockey.....sure we go back and forth at eachother but I respect his hockey knowledge.........disagree all you want......but don't attack my record unless you have one of your own........

cheer for your team........that's fine........but you have to know when to draw the line........

kickserv, agree with most of what you said. 2 things. i never said cechmanek was any good. in fact, i think he's average at best. just noticed you were riding him hard and belfour was weak. my losing more cash statement was referring to you betting against philly again. period. dont think i didnt take notice of what you were betting on during round one. nice job, keep up the good work. by the way, i'm not a flyers fan, but a fan of the nhl and madjack posting forums, not to mention sports wagering. just noticed some of the banter in here(leaf fans mostly) and having some fun. my series picks are in nicks thread. hopefully no offense taken on your part. now how bout some winners for round two, dammit!

well said :)

and by the way.........there is no fans on earth harder on their team then Toronto fans........listening to talk radio you'd think the Leafs won one game all year and every player is a convicted murderer.......it's sad how quickly Leaf fans turn on their team........for the next 4 months I'll have to hear how bad they are......man........even if Leafs made finals this year, there would be Torontonians saying that the whole team should be dismantled.........there is no tougher place on earth to play pro sports then Toronto.....fans and media are never satisfied......sh** even heard a guy today saying that Sundin needs to go, Roberts needs to go....Mogilny needs to go....Quinn needs to go.....and he was serious........you'd think the only Leaf that played well was Carlton the mascot!!

Toronto fans are vicious..........

yes I was pissed at Nolan because he shouldn't have played......the guy could barely walk (actually had trouble taking off his skates)........what the heck was he even playing for........have to have enough team pride to take yourself out of the line-up:mad:

yea guys, but the leafs knew that Nolan was hurt in pain with his leg....... i think that if he's healthy next season it'll be great adition to the team, i don't even remember the name of the guy that leafs changed for him.........

New York is the toughest place to play sports in ;)

I agree David for sports on average, but for hockey I would say T.O. fans and media are the harshest

But, I am sure the NY media are all over the Rangers since they have the highest payroll...

i saw a rangers game last year at M.S.G. and they lost to the predators 5-2. Every time nedved touched the puck the whole crowd would boo him. Even this "cute" little old lady sitting next to me (stinkin like cigarettes)was talking chit. She told nedved to hit them with his purse.

once nashville put the game away with the fifth goal the crowd just ripped into to the rangers booing and heckling them. some crowd support.

would love to go to toronto to see a game. definetly on my lifetime to do list.:)

The media is relentless on the Rangers here especially with the whole payroll & missing the playoffs 6 straight seasons. I'm sure the Toronto media is up there as far as hockey goes with their Leafs. All sports combined NY is the toughest ;)

HAHA I remember that Nashville game, that was bad. You know you're in trouble when you get booed at the end of the last game of the regular season when you are giving the shirts off your backs. They let Lindros have it.
