Hey Spock

Hey Spock

its all a numbers game. If Glavine/Braves would have opened at -180 or higher I wouldnt have touched either. Its all about the numbers. When looked at fast of coarse you will like the Braves (better record, better pitcher numbers). Openng line to me indicates Mets will win. Using my system in Baseball Ive never had any problem staying on the high positive. Sometimes Vegas/offshores like to throw dummy lines out to ya. But tonight I dont see that happening. I hope you win lots of money tonight but hopefully not your Braves game:moon:

Pitching edge to Braves

Pitching edge to Braves

Carefull ...IloveWR

the Braves have a pitching edge in this one.

Closers:
Benitez threw 39 pitches last nite while Smoltz rested.
Braves have the best bullpen in MLB by a wide margin. The last bullpen to have such a stat edge was the Mariners last year.

Starters:
Tom Glavine definately rates ahead of Shawn Estes. Glavine is 16-7 with 2.84 era lifetime against the Mets. Estes is 2-2 with 5.05 lifetime.

Last nite the Mets scored all 7 of their runs against Lopez, not the bullpen. Glavine will be tougher today.

Also Braves #2 in MLB in slugging the last 7 games.

No play for me.

check the mets BA against lefties - huge edge for Braves. Check status of Chipper Jones though - this could be why ATL is not -180.

Jim/Puckfan you might be right tonight

Jim/Puckfan you might be right tonight

My numbers say the Mets tonight. I am not a Mets fan at all. Mind you I hate the Braves also. We'll see. Im pretty confident on this one though I hope you both do well tonight.:moon:
