will this be the biggest choke in modern history? They have lost I believe 12 of last 14, and 7 St. at Shea. Many games blowing huge leads of 5 & more runs. I remember Boston blowing big lead in 78. But I don't think it was 7 games on September 15. Could be wrong. But anyone know, is this biggest choke in modern baseball?

But anyone know, is this biggest choke in modern baseball?

The Philadelphia Phillies held a 6 1/2 game lead over the St. Louis Cardinals with only twelve games remaining in the 1964 season.

i didn't know, had to google it.

and this is a cool little article with the mathematical probabilities of the biggest choke jobs in baseball. apparently the angels of 1995 was the worst.

not 100% on this but back when baseball was 4 divisions i remember cincinnati reds coming back froim 10 games down from start of september.but im not sure if it was september, been so long ago.i think the dodgers were leading the division at the time.
i know this because being a big reds fan,i use to hate the dodgers, but they were great rivals back then
