1. Both teams have huge holes at QB but I think Miami can fill theres better than FSU at this point. Miami quite possibly could have the fastest defense in the country this year and it is not the type of team that you want to be throwing out a inexperienced QB ( I assume that Xavier Lee will start over Weatherford) against in his first game out of the box. Although Lee can present problems with his ability to scramble but he also tends to force the ball in traffic.

2. I could be wrong but has not Miami completely owned this series over the past decade?

3. I would believe that both teams are going to rely on their defenses and running games so this could be low scoring game that is decided by who makes the fewer errors between Lee and Wright.

I think that both teams are pretty evenly matched in every category with one glaring excpetion: UM's D-line vs. FSU's O-line.

UM will be in FSU's backfield on every play and will bring their LBs and safties closer to the line should FSU try to get its RBs outside the box to take away some of the pressure.

I think UM is going to win convincingly, but mainly due to points off of turnovers, not their O.

Either way, the game is going to be a bloodfest - I wouldn't be surprised if at least 2 QBs are carted off the field.

Miami 2 Florida St.

Miami 2 Florida St.

Florida St. has lost six straight and are 1-5 ATS the last six vs Miami Fl. I thought the line would be a little higher. When a book has a game on 2' it makes me pause and take a deeper look.
Miami looks like the obvious play and that's what causes me concern at this number.

I agree with Miami. They have had Fla. St.'s number of the years and seem to be more solid at present. QB play will be the difference. Miami, as noted, has the edge in Defense.

I know a die hard Fl St guy and even he says take Miami in this game. If the line was more than +2.5, then I'd say take Fl St because Miami has a bad habit of not covering in early games they are favored in.

Looks like the majority of the money is gonna be on MIA.......the line looks a little fishy if MIA is such a good team.........i'm sticking with FLA ST. quite frankly i don't see them opening the season 0-1, gonna go against the public here.

There's not an easier way to make money than betting against FSU in this one. We can't beat 'em.....period!

I remember way back when we were pre-season #1, the team had that damn Seminole Shuffle song("I guess that's why they call me Primetime"). My buddies and I had a huge road trip to Miami. Just knew we were going to win. We lost 31-0!!!!

I'll be on Miami. If we win, I'll be glad to pay the man. If they lose by 1.....well, let's not think like that.

Considering how many times lately it has come down to a missed fg by FSU, I think your chances of FSU losing by 1 or 2 is pretty good.
