Dallas spent much of the 2nd half of game one trying to play a zone. They did this because carlyle knows they can't match up and play man defense against the heat when James,Wade and Bosh are on the floor. I've heard a lot of folks say theres no way dallas doesn't rebound in this game and that they need to" make the other players beat them",bibby(lol) Haslem, chalmers. What I don't hear from any of them is who is going to guard James and get the ball out of his hands...Stevenson?he's about 6'5" with a lot of toughness, but thats not the answer. How are they going to get the ball out of James's or wades hands, who will be "locking them down"? Its a lot easier to say on the internet than do on the court. There might not be an answer for James anywhere in the league, but there definately isn't anyone on Dallas who can even slow him down as I see it. I have thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful playoff run the Mav's have had to date, but I feel they don't match up well with the heat. Dallas is 13-3 against the number and Miami is now 10-6. Its time to give James his due,the guy looks ready to take it to another level, the championship one. The two three pointers at the end of the third quarter convinced me. The addition of Haslem has cured their rebounding ills, they have been hell on wheels since he came back in the Bulls series. He made Nowitzke look human ( seven for eighteen) BEFORE he tore a tendon on his non shooting hand. If theres no need to double Nowitzke, the Dallas three point shooters will be contested all night as they were Tuesday. Being the finals,no one is coming out flat, everybody will be hustling and working their asses off defensively, and not allowing cheap baskets in transition. I'm playing the under 187- again(local line). I also feel Miami is the right side and am playing them -4-.They are playing what might likely be their last home game of the year, and I wouldn't be surprised to see an even more convincing victory than game one.(I am four games over .500 for the playoffs,i believe 45-41 is the number) GL

I cannot believe that Dallas will not win the first home game in Dallas.

Especially if Miami wins tonight.

Epic game,,one has to feel that Dallas has the momentum and has a team of destiny type thing going on.they really owe Marion and chandler credit for keeping them in this game, and the great Nowitzke came alive to lead one more improbable comeback aka the one at oklacity.Miami is gonna suffer the reverse karmic hose,ie lose a series they seemingly had in hand just like Dallas did.in 2006.Now that would make the Miami haters happy.makes me glad I'm not a fan of anyone team, just a fan of the game.Miami superstar one on one offense doesn't't look like enough to beat the mavs, who will likely hit a lot more shots from three at home.can't wait for Sunday......

OScott- there's no doubt his hand was bothering him,he came through like star the last five minutes though.credit to him for sure.re: the prediction,Dallas's gaudy ats record and the run Miami was on sincehaslemreturn made me think such a thing was possible. Now that Dallas has broken through against them, there's no reason to believe that their awesome chemistry won't overcome Miami one in one offense.Dallas reduces turnover would help too,but that comeback reversed the momentum of this terrific final series .disappointed not to have bought a point on the game total, thought it would have been good at 186 is why I didn't.congrats to the Dallas and over money, you were right it was the exact opposite result than Tuesday.that Dallas stretch of 22 point 20 plus minutes haqd you nervous though is bet All got our moneys worth from this one.
