Nationals/Marlins-HUGE pitching edge for the Fish tonight!!! :yup Nats starter Dan Haren is a joke as his last three starts would indicate. He has given up 12 runs on 21 hits in 14 innings of work. Haren has been CRAP all year for that matter & Washington is 1-8 in his road starts this year. Jose Fernandez has been outstanding in every start he has made for Miami this year with an overall ERA of 2.86. Has given up just 4 runs on 10 hits in his last 3 starts & is 6-2 with a 1.47 ERA when pitching @ Marlins Park. The Nats will be facing Fernandez for the first time & will be lucky to score...if they score @ all. The Fish win 7-1
Cardinals/Cubs-Both starters have pitched well in their careers when these too rivals play but I think the Cardinals have a better chance to score runs tonight. St. Louis is just better than the Cubs & Garza's ERA @ Wrigley this year is 5.40. Should be a close game but the Cardinals will prevail. St. Louis 4-2
