Between The Hedges
Trying to decide between these two for a short get away with the wife. Been neither place so looking for some insight and suggestions. First trip we have been on by ourselves since the kids have been born so relaxation/fun without kids is the priority. Miami seems the logical choice especially in April, but we both want to visit fenway as well and the sox are in town but just not sure if there is anything else worth going for. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Boston is a lot of fun, Haymarket Square, Faneuil Hall, a lot of Museums, weather is usually nice

Boston.

From here so I'm a little biased. I wouldn't drive a tank through most of Miami.

Just my opinion though.

If you make it up here let me know!

Lotta cool places for you and Mrs. Uga to check out!

Miami sucks IMO. Why not the Keys?

according to what time of year, what you want to do, how much you want to spend etc?

I have been to pretty much every big city in the US if you want tips... Boston was -15 degrees wind chill this morning ....Miami is a shithole but South Beach is like being in a different world and very European but awesome.... Key West is amazing but very pricy

Think South Beach - Ocean Drive not Miami
If you've never been to South Beach and you like sun and fun, think laying out w. beautiful people with salsa dancing at night then by all means go to South Beach. My wife and I have been there several times.

The Delano and Fountain Blue are great hotels, although because of Hilton I'm now partial to Hilton Bentley for obvious reasons.

Key West
Has straight flights on Air Tran. Nothing more fun than Duval Street, conch sandwiches, and cold beer. Drunk driving on mopeds is encouraged. The beaches are decent and have some really nice secluded places if you decide to go I'll email you.

Can't really provide anything of interest on Boston.

Yall got me wanting the keys now:facepalm:

especially if you can get direct flights in:0074

I can't and its a long 4 hour ride down there from Miami but you could stop at other places...there are 5 islands {keys} along the way with Key West being the last...Bad To the Bone lives on one of them....Woody hooked up with him

Key West should be on everyones bucket list at least once:0074

If you have the money - go to Little Palm Island. My sister and her husband go all the time.

Or just go to the keys - now you have two great options. Listen to Woody.....he knows. :0074

I actually dont think I would mind the drive since I have never been to that part of the country. And the chance to meet up with another Madjacker with saltwater in their veins and maybe even a fishing trip:scared This is quickly turning into the best choice, and it is starting to not even be close.

Place looks awesome. I tried punching in dates just to see prices and it said it was unavailable. I punched in at least 5 more dates all the way out to nov of 2012 and it still said unavailable for those dates:scared I get the feeling I cant afford it:mj07:

Little Palm is incredible and very pricey, but it is worth it. You can also stay in Key West and go to Little Palm for a very romantic dinner. Check out the Banyan in Key West, a cozy B&B. Make dinner reservations at Louies Backyard. Thank me later.:0008
