very nice trends but keep you cash in your pocket if you are thinking about playing tech, they are a weak team in the midle and you can pass on them, i don't care if they are in the burgh playing at night the will not beat miami, usc will get it's chance maybe when miami plays pitt, imo usc and miami are going to be the ones there, not because ok is not a great team but that extra game for conf. title can come back and bite you. and ok will have there hands full this week with state, it is just one of those games that gives them trouble most of the time, usc better not take wash.st to light i don't think they cover the points this week but do think they win. i picked sc at about july to be in it against miami got laughed at not for miami but for usc, was told they could not recover with the qb spot and i said give me deff anytime and i think they are one of the best if not the best and i am far froma pack 10 person just don't really like them and a lot of it comes from being from the east coast and watching sc do major damage in the late 70's ,like would root against them when you got to see them which was very little on the east but now the east can see the pac 10 but still think they get over looked by the east and the south because of time zone by the so called sports writers. hoops they really get hurt. but i think they end up there some how and if they played auburn again they would crunch them again and shut down the pinto i mean the caddy:D auburn was over rated from the start good players bad coach as long as flubberville is there they will never see the big game.

i am pulling fo sc to make it not because i like them but i think they are a well rounded team who has the sooners played if you really look at it? but they have done what has been ask but still think they end up with 1 l and it could be that extra game that cost them..

miami will win this game by 10+

good luck and good luck to your team. you might be laughing when i said pitt. when pitt is healthy in the backfield they could and can play with anyone.

Eric

left this out cal would lose to sc 9 out of 10 times this year got hung up on auburn and left out the cal game. hey it was 3 am but i think sc will make it i hope fsu does not get it if miami or ok drops 1.

I got some trends for you:
Miami has won 39 straight reg season games.
Miami has won 18 straight road games.
Miami has won 26 straight big east games.
Virginia Tech has lost 21 of last 23 to top 10 teams.
Virginia Tech got drubbed by the only decent opponent they have played all year.
Virginia Tech waxes cupcake teams, but struggles beating real good teams.
IMO, you can throw those meaningless trends out the window when it comes to this game.
Fletcher is right, Miami wins by 10+.
We are only trying to help, don't bet VT and save your $.
Good luck anyhow.
PS I got USC -1 in a 10 pt teaser, so they better win. :D

All the ATS trends seem to point to Tech here, but I have to agree with fletcher...after watching Virginia Tech struggle against West Virginia I can't see them beating Miami.

I will PASS here...this one angle is making me stay away...

Play on Home Underdogs of 3.5-10 points when they are coming off a loss to a conference foe if they have a winning record and are playing a team with a winning record. Va Tech fits here. The trend is 7-0 ATS this year and 65-25 ATS over the past 5 years.

I am not betting the game, but i am sure as hell rooting for V-Tech. Miami should have lost 2 games this year. Last year in my opinion USC was the best team but unfortunately played the toughest SOS and lost 2 games. This year i think USC right now is def. a top 3 team, and maybe the best at the end of the year. UGA, MIAMI, and OU need to lose.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pete Carroll is building a DYNASTY at USC. This is his only 3rd year at USC.

he is a great coach got so sick of hearing auburn had a bad game and this and that, and your right miami should of lost to fl adn the catch winslow mad with 26 secs left on 4 and 12 will be one of the top catches of the year the figured it out tech geeks that he was at 10 feet + when he caught that ball saginst wvu i wanted to see wvu win. carrol will have them at the top for a long time . remember when he got there they sucked , they had a few key players that were above avg but sc was not getting the players they use to get, now they are i can handle them and i like oregon also have , but the rest of pac 10 i just am not a fan of i can put up with asu also. but he will get the players every year. i would rather ok lost i want to see miami usc. it will be sick if one of those 2 go down and they take fsu and it could happen if they end up with 1 loss. if auburn can run the table and get to championship game of sec that would give sc a good bit of extra points.

I think USC troubles were not talent but rather coaching. After USC hired Carroll, i now have a huge respect for coaching. USC always got top 10 recruiting classes, but now USC is getting #1 recruiting classes. Chow also deserves credit and the rest of the coaching staff.

Did you know Fletcher that Miami wants NO PART of USC. Last year at the Heismon Ceromony USC asked Miami if they wanted to play in BCA game this year. They said no. THen USC talked about home and home with Miami, they said NO. This year, USC said they want to play in the BCA game next year, and don't care who they play. USC contacted Miami again and they said no again. I thought Miami has motto "play anyone anywhere"? USC is one of the few teams in country who is not afraid of competition. It might cost USC NC's but i think its better to try and play the best and earn a NC. I would like USC to play Miami, FSU, OU or Florida next year. Hope one of them comes calling.

I rather USC play OU. I think Stoops and Carroll are the 2 best defensive coaches in college foots. Carroll does not have all his players yet, but i think it be great matchup. In 2 years Carroll will have all his players like Stoops. If USC goes to Rose Bowl, i want it to be Ohio St. then Michigan.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!

yeah miami gave the money problem thing as their reason to help valadate them going to the acc i want to see the game because it would be off against a great deff so think it would be more intense the usc against ok or another team, and the dodge ball that was played. we might know if there is a chance for them fsu and that is about it i think, because ga is all banged up and those are the only team with 1 loss that would have a chance to move a head of a ok or miami with 1 loss if on of those 2 fall, if they play osu in rose bowl i think it will be like auburn i don't think osu will score. if you can pick up and exacute chows system your teams will always do good, they had good players but not like they use to they were always the 31 or #2 class every year and before pc got there it had dropped off. now i see them being in top 5 every year. and ucla will keep droping down in the battle they had their shots and now going to be tuff to get the same players as usc will get imo. if i was a player and they both wanted me it would not even be a choice it would be usc hands down.

Hokies win this game.

Miami is suspect. Running game is inconsistent and Berlin is mistake prone. VT is pissed. I don't see them going into Blacksburg and taking a win.

well there you go Scott and i was wrong on that game but glad for usc i said in july they were the top 3 in the nation with miami (wrong) and ok right and it won't change now. i tell you what usc should have no problem in running the table and if fsu does also and usc gets pushed out that will be the biggest crime since bsc has been around, they hammered a wash.st team that always plays them tuff. there deff is great and each week their off gets more and more of the system and looks great. all i am saying far from a fan but if they run the table and do not get a chance to play for the chystle fb then they got screwed because even with 1 loss to a team who can score in cal i put them right up there with ok. hope we get to see it.

wvu runs the table which they can they will be big east champs , pitt will beat miami. wvu only lost 1 game last year in big east they have played a very good sch non conf. maryland, wisck, cinn and ucf not many teams play tuff non conf games so wvu does and it helps them in conf.

i say it now usc and ok are the best teams out there hands down and my number 3 would be a tie between fsu and georgia not a big ten team. i think the best big ten team my working mans team is iowa and minn is right behind them or = to them.

congrats usc fans hope you run the table this is a great yes i said great fb team. wash.st was a very good team auburn is a good team all but coach and they tore a part these teams.

I also as much as it kills me because even as a kid i was a horns fans back with EC and the jones crew, i remember when nd crushed them in the cotton bowl in mid 70's i was hart broke and i still love them as a fan and always will but ok or ou which ever you people like to be called is a great team also now that i want to see these 2 plays watch the bcs screw it up because i don't think any other team will be able to stop these moving trains.

Thanks for giving USC props. I cannot say how much i appreciate what Pete Carroll has done for USC. His teams get better as the year goes on. USC today was an injured team (without #1 defensive player grootegood) and they played very well.

USC vs OU will be great matchup and i would fly to New Orleans to watch it. I was at the game tonight, and 82,000 fans showed up, (thats big for such a large city of LA where there is lots to do)

Last night on Halloween, i wore a USC sweatshirt, and to my suprise, SOOO MANY KIDS were yelling go Trojans or saying nice sweatshirt. USC has completely taken over LA.

I agree, if USC runs the table, they should be in NC game. I think USC could beat OU. OU has not seen a team like USC or faced a coaching staff like USC. Pete Carroll is not MACK BROWN! lol.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I watched USC bitchslap Notre Dame a few weeks back, I was amazed over the amount of pure talent they had. Watching Oklahoma today, I felt the same way.

I still think there should be a playoff (there will be one-loss teams getting hosed), but barring a loss, there is no question in my mind that USC/Okie should be the title game. I hope these two teams both run the table and face off. Should be an incredible game.

As a sidenote, mad props to Va.Tech for that game tonight. It was all on the line, and they played like gamebreakers.
