VEGAS
Lookin over things on a rainy nite in Vegas  I found a few positives in a possible play on the Dolphins.
1.-St. Louis sits atop their NFC West Division at 4-2.
Miami sits 0-6 in the NFL.
2. The Rams have come off back to back tough pretty high profile games. (an unreal comeback at Seattle and a hard fought Monday nite win vs. a scrappy, but error prone T.B. team.
3. Miami does have the #2 def. in the AFC.
4. St. L. has the 12th ranked def. in the NFC.
5. Miami has played the 19th toughest schedule compared to the Rams 30th ranked schedule.
6. The Rams have their BYE next week, and get to travel to Florida. May be a bit distracked knowing they have 2 weeks off.
7. The Dolphins have their 2ND Monday Nite Game next week vs. division rival NY JETS.
I'd have to think that it's very important to have their BEST game of the year this weel not only to get that 1st W, but also to get ready for the Jets. And if I were a member of the Dolphins, I definatlely would want to go into Monday nites game with a win than at 0-7!
With a win it will take all kinds of pressure off them come Monday nite and save them from feeling embarrassed in front of not only the TV audience but the rest of the league who may be watching.
So here's a vote for Miami + 6.5 .
Also 93% are on St.L. so far.

True, but your forgetting the inevitable touchdown pass by Fiedler to the Rams defense. I've been burned by the Fish qb's too many times this year. They'll probably do something the week I lay off them.

Sorry dude but your better off spending your money on a really hot hooker in Vegas....Miami is so pathetic that even the defensive players are ready to give up on the year...Season ticket holder here and Dolphin faithful and I am telling you the truth. If you dont want a whore than go to spearmint rhino for a few lapdances or drop a few bucks on the Schilling sunday night in the World Series.

Spearmint Rhino's is like a buffet of every kind of food you could imagine. An expensive buffet.

Although I hear what Hooks is saying. I'm a Rams fan and they're ready for a stinker. Two big games in a row now they're going down south to play a physical defense. Not sure if it's worth putting $$$ on, but could be on to something.

hooks,

i agree with you. most people bet on good offensive teams, not good defensive teams.

here is some other trends supporting this play.....

the rams are 3-10 ats in their last 13 as a road favorite or pick.

teams that are 0-5 or worse are 80-38-3 ats (67.7%) as a dog or pick against teams with a winning % of .800 or worse.and those winless teams are 47-17-2 ats (73%) in non - division games.

miami wins outright.

good luck.
