The more I look at this the more I really llike Mich. St. Not sure what it was but something finally turned this group around. Lucas was not the same player he was after coming back from last injury and they seem to have found heart they lacked all year. Love this Butler team and coach but not sure playing in Indy is a good thing. This same Mich. St. team was here last year and that is a bigger advantage. Butler will get beat on boards and experience/Izzo wins in the end.

Like you, I like that Mich St won the Indy regional here last year. Plus, the distractions of playing at home may come into play here for Butler.....

I like Mich St more by the day:shrug:

I think this is the worst match up for Butler personally, however I would not bet against this team. I heard on the radio Bilas went out to dinner with Syracuse's coach Boheiim (sp?) and he told Bilas the Butler guards were the best defensive guards he has seen in the last ten years. Plus, Butler has the advantage of playing Lucas Stadium, they know the court very well, and they should have a ton of fans in the arena. I think they have a shot to win this game. It's a given that MSU will win on the boards, but if they don't shoot the ball well I think Butler wins.

I am not playing this game but have this observation.

If Butler has 20 turnovers like they did last game and does not protect the ball , Mich St is going
to walk with this game.

20 turnovers:scared for a final four team
