People do that shit all the time. I rarely walk into a restaurant and not see glasses of wine or drinks. I don't have any friends that own limos. I know people that swear up and down that they don't drive drunk, but you see them out drinking and they always say "I've only had a couple". They've had a couple since I arrived. It's all bullshit. Not saying Poon is full of shit, I actually believe him. He is a pretty stand up guy from what I can tell, but my friends are all full of shit.

3 drinks over 3 hours, 185lbs shouldn't put me over the limit. But if I didn't eat any food until that meal (which is common for me), then who's to say if I'd blow a .09 or up.

If I go to dinner with my wife and we are both drinking, we took a cab there and will take one home. If one of us is driving, that person had 1 drink.

No, you never said the word ?acceptable?. Based on the below quote, I interpreted you as it being acceptable. Just my opinion/interpretation, that?s all.

I think it would be easy to tell when I'm borderline and driving home...it's about the only time the needle on the speedometer stays right on the actual speed limit.

And for all the soap boxers, don't come in here and act like you've never driven while questionable. I'd venture to guess that of all adults legal drinking age at least 75% have done so.

It's your and hedgehog's reasoning that it's "ok" if you are cautious enough to actually drive the speed limit, stop at stop signs, use your turn signal, etc.

This past weekend, Sat night I got hammered at BWW watching football, meeting former playmates and former Houston Oiler cheerleaders...luckily my lady friend had picked me up so she drove me home and stayed the night, not worth risking a DWI :SIB
