Big 10 has no championship game, so if you can't win your own conference, then you don't get to play for a National Championship. Simple as that.

SEC has 5-6 teams that can beat anybody including big, bad Ohio State. The other conferences barely have 2 at the most.

Yep, I agree with this. Urban Meyer is one of the smartest coaches in the nation. However, one thing he hasnt been able to deal with is the inability of his senior QB to not make mistakes. And the inabiliity of his young and EXTREMELY talented team to make penalty after penalty which keeps games close.

I have said this about every team Ohio State has played this year.......if Ohio State does not kill itself, they will beat any team they play this year soundly. They are that talented.

And if we win the turnover battle against Florida, which if past history of this football season is any indicator, we will have a good chance to do.......Florida will get run out of the building.


The thing is......I can appreciate SEC guys standing up for their conference......but lets be honest, is there is QB in the entire conference that you can count on to step up and win a big game??

1. LSU has more talent? The same talent that led them to 3 points against Auburn? Let's see how many Tigers get drafted versus OSU and Michigan over the next couple years.

2. Sure they do. They have almost as much as a good LSU team. Just look at the talent at place kicker and QB.

3. Hard to stop a Florida team that hung 21 on Tenn, 26 on Kentucky, 17 on Auburn, 21 on Georgia, and 17 on South Carolina. Teams the broke 30pts against: Southern Miss, UCF, Western Carolina, and Arkansas.....Pretty high powered attack.

4. It will slow OSU down like it slowed down which high powered SEC offense? Oh, that's right. There isn't a high powered offense in the conference.

All that said, I really hope Florida gets a shot because it will finally shut the whiners up....well, no it won't because the SEC fans have short memories. They will forget about the beat down FLA is about to receive just like they will forget about the Georgia and Auburn embarrassments from last year's January bowls.
