MICHIGAN STATE +4 - This has been a storybook season for the Spartans, who are one point away from being undefeated. In fact, the 20-19 loss to Louisiana Tech was even worse when you consider that the Bulldogs scored twice in the last 2:00, thanks to a recovered on-side kick. That defeat has not affected State in Big Ten play, where they are a perfect 4-0 ATS, winning by a whopping average of 19.8 points! They have already posted impressive wins over Iowa at home and Minnesota on the road, so I feel they have what it takes to knock off the Wolverines outright. Michigan saw its national title hopes go up in smoke in an early season loss to Oregon, and they have already suffered a conference defeat at the hands of Iowa. Their defense has been like Jeckyl and Hyde home and away, as the Wolverines are allowing an unbelievable 7.3 points per game at home, but an equally shocking 32.8 points per game on the road. Unfortunately for them, this game is in a hostile environment vs. their biggest in-state rival, and they are also facing a red-hot offense.

Michigan -4
Michigan wants revenge in the worst way for the way they lost to MSU the last time in East Lansing. Jeremy LaSueur especially.

I hung out with Carl Diggs last week after the Purdue game and he/they were very anxious to get this week started. The defense is firing on all cylinders at the right time. He was quoted as saying that he couldn't imagine leaving college without winning in E. Lansing.

Watch for #15 to come through with another big game. This kid is special and he's only a sophomore. (redshirt) He brings what has been missing from the special teams (return game) since Woodson left. He brings people outta their seats everytime he touches the ball. Put him with Edwards and Avant in the receiving game and they have arguably the best receiving corps in the big ten and maybe the nation.

Stopping Smoker will be the key as was stopping Kyle Orten last week and with 7 sacks, they did it well.

Michigan State getting 4 at home in a series that has been dominated by the home team seems like a trap to me. If Vegas is dropping the hook...I'm not taking the bait.

LOL.....no offense man, but it cracks me up to hear guys say...."well, I hung with with so and so and they said that they are really motivated.......BLAH BLAH BLAH. Well, what are they supposed to say? I'd have to question a guys manhood that says, "Yea, those Spartans are pretty damn good. In fact they are probably better than us. I am dreading the day we go into East Lansing." The line on this game is solely on public perception. There is a group of people that are handicapping thsi game like this....."Are the Mighty Wolverines really going to lose 3 games in a season? NO WAY, Gimme the Wolverines!" And that is how they handicap the game. That is the most retarded thing I have ever heard. The facts are that Michigan is not a good road team this year. This is a rivalry. To give me points on the home team in what i see as a pretty good game seems like a smart bet to me. Give me the points!

Read into it what you want....I never said anything about being "extra motivated" or anything like it. I simply said they were anxious to get the week of practice started.
You goofballs from columbus are gonna have to get over your jealousy of us boys from Michigan sooner or later.
You can have the last 2 years.......I'll take the 10 before that.

BTW - Nice Game Carl!

Also, I would like to add that this is by far the best forum on the Net for sports info. You do a fantatic job of keeping out the bashers, and all the posters are extremely knowledgeable.

Keep up the great work and good luck to you!
