DO you or do you not want Jim Harbaugh to coach the Wolverines?
I think he'd be a great fit there. He sounds tired and had a surgery procedure for an arythimia (spelling) and he's on his 2nd marriage, like some of us are :142smilie, and he has been on the phone with interim AD and also school Chancellor/Prez and SF will let him go as he's become a pain in the ass to the owner and GM, but it's not just cuz of Jim's personality, it's also the character of the players that were drafted w/o Jim's input and holdovers from Singletary era.
Kaepernick isn't declining because of Jimmy, he's declining because of Kaepernick himself. Own worse enemy. Any one who sports another team's ball cap after gettting beat in in the Super Bowl has issues. He's a misfit! I scouted him in baseball and he could be a very good pitcher for any ML team but he is a head case and scored one of the worse on personality profiles when I gave him the test (Caliper) and look up his football score on the wunderlich! It's not good folks!! If he's so good, why did he end up at Nevada? Why not a Washington St or USC? Or Cal? or even Stanford for Jim when Jim was still there?
I believe that Jim is using the system to get what he wants and he'd be a great fit at Michigan and give them (boosters/fans) what they want. Jim can recruit! He's a developer of talent for the open minded, common sense type of players (not a Kaepernick - he's got no fokken sense). Recruits would come to Michigan from outside the state as well instead of leaking down to Ohio St and going to E Lansing school of Sparty!
For 8 mil? Yeah, it's steep, but that's what these big college tv conference contracts have allowed some schools to provide. Jim's shown that he can coach kids 3-4 years in a college program and already in the NFL he's proven that the mentality of the pro players is getting to him and you can see it. That was one of the reasons his dad stayed in college football so long and I believe that Jim is seeing that cuz he admires his dad more today than he used to.
What do ya'll think about Jim as your new Head Coach? If he doesn't take the job, who you going to get? Someone's offensive coordinator? A lower division II coach perhaps?
It's not that they need a "MICHIGAN MAN", they need a common sense guy who is competitive and can back it up with his record, like he had at San Diego and for the 49ers up until this fiasco of a year where finger pointing between TE Davis and Kaepernick and the off field with McDonald starting eating this club alive in the off-season.
Input is appreciated!!
