minnesota in the dome looks like the biggest potential slip-up spot. gophers arent great but thats a difficult place to win. cant imagine michigan being more than a 2 or 3 pt favorite in that game.

OSU
Auburn
USC
WV
Florida
Michigan
Texas
Georgia

They'll be ranked high for only one week b/c next Saturday they'll let down and fall to the Badgers in The Big House...

OK, maybe not. Can't blame me for wishful thinking, though! Wolverines looked uber-impressive today. The OSU game very well may determine a berth in the national title game as I expect both to be undefeated.

It's mICHIGAN. And it's Carr. They cant stand prosperity. They will find a way to lose before OSU

But to what team? They should bitchslap my alma mater next week; I don't think much of PSU. Gophers on the road? Maybe, but unlikely. I just don't see any landmines prior to OSU for the Wolverines. I hope you're right, though... not a fan of the maize and blue at ALL.

it looks like a potential slip up......but remember one thing.....after Minny's win last year at Ann Arbor they ran to the 50 and stuck their flag in the field........Mich DOES remember that......

the key for them is to not feed into the hype they'll be receiving after this week and handle business against the Badgers and their big oline.....

to answer your ? about the ranking.....i was thinking around 6 myself.....however Kirk Herbstriet has them #3 in his top 5......take it for what its worth

I think Michigan should be ranked in the top 5 for sure...can't argue against OSU, USC, and Auburn ranked ahead of U of M...

As always this time of year polls could be argued so many ways. Does this game mean Michigan is really good or ND was very overrated? Or Both? I would probably go like this:

1. OSU
2. USC
3. Auburn
4. Florida
5. Michigan

i understand auburn has played a tougher schedule so far but i think florida is better. would have to go

ohio state
southern cal
florida
auburn
michigan

on a side note, if bush (and now brohm for that matter) were healthy, id seriously consider louisville a fringe top 5 team too. i know miami isnt what theyve been but to do what they did sans bush on that D is might impressive. shame we'll never know.

WOnt happen....but we could very easily be looking at 4 unbeatens from major conferences come year end...

OSU/Mich
LVille/WVa
USC
Auburn/Florida - heck even Georgia could do it

that would be quite a dilemma...but I would have to go with winner of Big Ten and USC for the title game...
