The Tigers would have finished fourth in the AL west. :mj07:

I enjoy the the new stats don't matter but the old ones do argument.

Who the fuck cares if he had some demons? What the fuck does that mean? I heard Trout's dog died yesterday. Does that change your mind?

Next.

First, I do not care for your tone.

Secondly, I am rooting for MC to win. His battle with alcoholism is part of the reason that I am rooting for MC to win.

Didn't King Felix also win or contend for CY recently with a poor record and great numbers. Not sure if he won, but i do know i was rooting for him.

Felix won it the year after Greinke and that 2 year stretch proved people were looking at it a little differently. If I remember right, those 2 had the lowest win totals outside of relievers who have won the award, or pretty close.

Well, there was David Cone for the Royals who had a low win total too.

It's fine that you are rooting for him but this is a big boy game. I don't care what problems he has.

Not sure how miggy overcoming a self inflicted "disease" (alcoholism) even enters consideration

dont think in anyway was cie meaning that miggy becomes more deserving because he was battling it..

think he simply means he personally wants to see him win it because the guy is relatable to the average joe dealing with regular problems....

I cannot say either of these men deserve it less than the other. I won't be upset if one wins it over the other. Bottom line is Trout is a better total player than miggy. This award is for the most valuable player, not the most offensive player. All things considered my vote is for Trout.

If you could replicate them, would you rather field a team with 9 Mike Trout's, or 9 Miggy Cabrera's? Just another way to think about the "new aged" stats vs. winning the triple crown.

i think mt is better, so i would go with mt. still want to vote for mc, though.

anyway, the winner of this hypo game would probably be the better pitcher of the 2:0008
