I'm not looking at this as a Bama fan dude, i'm looking at this as a college football fan. Like I said, flag for helmet to helmet but no suspension. Murray had an opportunity to make a play there.
I don't think Dial being out of the NC game would matter in the least so I'm not at all worried about the impact of a suspension, there wouldn't be a drop off without Dial.
Also, let me know what Goode's opinion is. I always liked that dude, he used to come on the OD alot.
Rocky Goode said that he should be suspended and said the referee had admitted to making the mistake of not throwing the flag.
I don't like the idea of league commissioners handing out suspensions like this. However, if you are not consistent with the punishment, then you are opening up a huge can of worms.
BTW, Goode indicated that it DID NOT matter whether it is an offensive or defensive player - the rule pertains to a "defenseless player"
