i am getting bombarded with text messages... people saying they are moving to mexico, spain, britain, etc. because we are a socialist country now...
Seems weird to me? They must not understand that those countries are far more socialist than we will ever be?
It shows ignorance and I actually feel sorry for them.
In a way, I think this could draw the nation apart instead of drawing us together.
The only thing I said back to all of them was "I had chillbumps watching Obama's speech, history in the making"

Hedge dont feed the goofballs. I too was called a racist for attempting humor. And Agent and Kosar dont even know me yet they see fit to call me a racist. Fawkin goofballs.
Alec and I were moving to Canada four years ago. We lied. Somehow and I really mean somehow, this country survived. Those of us in the middle think that the new president will do a good job in reversing what we consider a bad direction.
I know certain folks at this forum are just dying for him to screw up. So be it. He will. I think he will surround himself with the best and the brightest (Buffett) versus Bush (Rove, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz) and make the best choices for America not corporate America.
I fully expect Wayne Weasel, Hedge, and others not to give him a chance at all. Actually I saw Wayne driving through downtown Bowling Green last night with a "Don't Blame Me I Voted For John McCain" bumper sticker on the back of his pick up.
Let's see how he does.
